PLMIX2
PLMIX2 incremental magnetic encoder with bus connection
PLMIX2 is a compact magnetic measuring system with a resolution of up to 5 µm. The sensor measures incrementally and has a CANopen interface. Thanks to the CANopen interface, the PLMIX2 can be connected to existing bus systems easily and in a space-saving way. This unique concept reduces the cabling and wiring effort and thus simplifies the electrical installation – an advantage especially in applications where several sensors communicate with the controller.
The extremely compact read head can be mounted at a distance of up to 2.0 mm from the magnetic tape.

The ELGO measuring system BMIX is based on the physical principle of length and position measurement by using magneto-sensitive components. It is used for a high-precision detection of the position, length or speed. A rechargeable battery line integrated in the sensor housing transforms the incremental measuring system into a quasi-absolute measuring system, as the current position is – even in the de-energized state – permanently detected and furtherprocessed internally.
