General information
The angle measuring range lies between 20° and 359°. The measuring principle is contactless,
based on a magnetic field rotating above the 2D Hall sensor. The system is short-circuit proof. There is no mechanical limit stop. Housing material: PBT.

The 360° angle sensor 424D is used for the detection of rotary movements from 20° to 360°. Angle sensor 424D is based on the contactless Hall measurement principle, which is extremely reliable and ensures a long service life.

Angle sensors are used, for example, in foot pedals for controlling mobile machinery or for position determination in cranes. Additionally, the 424D is ideal for use in excavators, robots or wind turbines thanks to its robust design.

CAN angle sensor 424C

tinywow_424c-perspective-kopie-960x960_71799904
  • Long lifetime and extremely reliable from contactless measurement with Hall principle
  • Angle measuring range up to 360°
  • IP67 protection class for harsh environmental conditions
  • Temperature range 40 °C to +85 °C
  • CAN bus connection (ISO 11898)
  • Protocols CANopen and SAE J1939
  • Optionally with operating lever
  • Connection with Deutsch DT06-6S connector

The 360° angle sensor 424C is used for angle measurements from 20° to 360° and is based on the contactless Hall measurement principle. It is extremely reliable and ensures a long service life. Due to the ball bearing, the pivot axis can absorb smaller radial forces and is therefore suitable for many applications in automation and vehicle construction where rotary movements of an axis must be detected.

Angle sensor 424A

  • Long lifetime and extremely reliable from contactless measurement with Hall principle
  • Angle measurement range between 30° and 120°
  • IP67 protection class for harsh environmental conditions
  • Operating temperature range from -40 °C to +85 °C
  • Resolution 0.1°
  • Various current or voltage output signals
  • Infinitely short-circuit proof
  • Available together with actuation lever for simple connection
  • EMV stabile for the motor vehicle sector, field withstand 200 V/m
  • Ball bearing (optionally with plain bearing)

The angle sensor 424A is used for measuring angles between 30° and 120°. The 424A is based on the contactless Hall measurement principle, which is extremely reliable and ensures a long service life. Due to high protection class IP67, the sensor can be used used reliably even under tough environmental conditions. Owing to their robustness, the sensors are particularly suitable for measuring the angular positions of rotating elements under extreme aenvironmental conditions, e.g. on mobile machinery, in cranes, excavators, ships, mobile and stationary waste compactors, valve controllers, robot technology and wind turbines or in large medical devices.

Angle sensor 424Z

tinywow_424z-perspective-kopie-960x960_71800285
  • Long lifetime and extremely reliable from contactless measurement with Hall principle
  • Angle measuring range between 30° and 120°
  • IP67 protection class for harsh environmental conditions
  • High temperature resistance from -40 °C to +85 °C
  • Resolution 0.1°
  • Ratiometric output signal 0.5 V to 4.5V
  • Redundant output signal available

General information
The angle measuring range is between 30° and 120°. The measuring principle is contactless, based on a magnetic field rotating around a Hall sensor. The system is short-circuit proof. The mechanical limit stop is at approx. 180°. The rotary axis has a plastic bearing. The rotary axis must therefore not be subjected to any force, i.e. levers are not permitted.

Axial angle sensor 424Z is the most cost-effective option for angle measurement in the elobau product portfolio. The 424Z has a minimal design and is without a roller or ball bearing. It is optionally available with a redundant output signal, making it an option for safety critical measurement tasks, particularly in mobile applications. The angle measurement range is from 30° and 120°. Angle sensor 424Z is based on the contactless Hall measurement principle, making it extremely reliable and with a long service life.

Owing to the compact dimensions and technical properties, it can be used for a wide range of applications. The sensor is used, for example, in steering axes of mobile machinery for measuring the wheel position.
