Limax – leading in shaft copying

LIMAX STANDARD
LIMAX1M
Mini Shaft information system LIMAX1M position detection up to 90 m conveying height.
The pseudo-absolute shaft copying system offers not only the smallest sensor in the entire LIMAX series, but is also a particularly cost-effective solution for the detection of conveying heights up to 90 meters.
During commissioning, a one-time referencing is required, which must be requested by the lift control. LIMAX1M is then auto-referencing, i.e. the system automatically detects the absolute position after a travel of 240 mm.
LIMAX2M
LIMAX2M Shaft Information System Absolute car position detection for hoisting heights up to 130 m
LIMAX2M is an absolute shaft copying system for heights up to 130 m. Due to the absolute measurement, no further referencing of the system is required after commissioning or after a power failure. The absolute position is permanently available. LIMAX2M is available in two variants. The version with RJ45 connector has protection class IP53, LIMAX2M with M12 circular connector is available in protection class IP55 and is 100% compatible to the previous version.

LIMAX44 RED
LIMAX44 RED Shaft Information System Safe, absolute measurement for hoisting heights up to 1.500 m
The sensor is designed to be used as a safe sensor together with a safe evaluation unit or directly with a safe controller. In combination, the complete system is able to fulfil safety functions in the elevator in accordance with EN 81-20. LIMAX44 RED is available in two versions. In the unguided version, the magnetic tape is glued directly to the guide rail of the elevator. In the semi-guided version, the magnetic tape is mounted freely suspended in the shaft with the aid of a mounting kit.
Safe Box
Safe Box electronic evaluation SIL3
Safe Box is an extension of the redundant absolute shaft information systems LIMAX3R and LIMAX4R. It serves as an additional component for monitoring the position and speed of the car, as well as the shaft and cabin doors. The system ensures important safety-relevant requirements in the shaft, e.g. limit switch function, speed limitation, also relative to the distance to the shaft end, door-bridging function for leveling and readjust with open doors, detection of unintended car movement with open doors.
