Our reflective light barriers have the transmitter and receiver housed in a single enclosure, making them easy to mount and align. The choice of the appropriate light type depends on your specific requirements. Depending on the type, our reflective light barriers operate with either highly visible red light or extremely precise laser light, which is ideal for detecting small parts.

Retro-reflective Sensors by Tippkemper Matrix – Efficiency Meets Safety
When dual-sided wiring is too costly or technically impossible, retro-reflective sensors from Tippkemper Matrix are the ideal solution. Both transmitter and receiver are housed in a single, rugged unit. The light beam is returned by a passive reflector (triple mirror) mounted opposite the sensor.
This principle reduces installation time and material costs significantly while maintaining full compliance with safety standards in hazardous areas. Our sensors are ATEX and IECEx certified for global use.
