Applications can be found in heavy industry, energy production, the automotive industry, the pharmaceutical industry, the chemical industry, the paint industry, and many more…
Laser triangulation is a proven method for precise distance measurement using angle calculation. In measurement technology, a laser point is projected onto the measurement object by a sensor. Depending on the distance, the reflected light hits a receiving element at a specific angle. The sensor calculates the distance to the object being measured based on the position of the light spot on the receiving element and the distance between the transmitter and receiver. This technology enables reliable and accurate measurement, ideal for industrial applications where precision is critical.
The laser triangulation sensors in the LTG product family offer precise, micrometer-accurate distance measurements and are designed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. With a repeatability of less than 10µm, they are ideal for applications in heavy industry, power generation, the automotive industry, the pharmaceutical industry, and the chemical industry.
These sensors have measuring ranges from 10 mm to 500 mm and offer outputs via digital interfaces (RS422) and configurable analog interfaces (4-20mA). Thanks to their IP65 protection rating, they are dust- and splash-proof and are perfect for level measurements, imbalance checks, closure checks, and quality inspections. Take advantage of the precision and reliability of our laser triangulation sensors for your demanding measurement requirements.
