Remote switch for central switching operation
Offices, factories, hospitals, schools and other public buildings often need separate control of individual lamp groups, plus a central command that switches all lights on at the start of the day and off in the evening, sometimes restricted to authorized staff. DOLD remote control switches make this central and group switching simple. Any number of non-illuminated push buttons can be wired to one remote switch, and the distance between push buttons and switch has little effect on operation.
The IK 8800 (17.5 mm) and IL 8800 (35 mm) are impulse-operated remote switches with a pushbutton for manual actuation, a position display and up to 4 changeover contacts. For central switching, the IK 8805 and IL 8805 tolerate a glow lamp load of up to 4 mA, while the IK 8807 takes 15 mA and comes with 1 or 2 NO contacts; when its central inputs ZE or ZA are actuated, pulses from the room push buttons are ignored. All five devices conform to IEC/EN 60669.
