PCB safety relays with forcibly guided contacts to DIN EN 61810-3

A relay with forcibly guided contacts, as defined in DIN EN 61810-3, has at least one NO and one NC contact that are mechanically linked so they can never both be closed. If an NO contact welds and fails to open, the linked NC contact stays open after the coil is switched off. A monitoring circuit that reads this NC contact as feedback can therefore spot the fault easily, which is why such relays remain standard in safety modules and controllers alongside semiconductor switching.

DOLD's range here includes OA 5601, OA 5602, OA 5603, OA 5611, OA 5612, OA 5642, OA 5643, OA 5644, OA 5667, OA 5669, OA 5669/3 and OA 5670, all Type A. Variants cover sensitive coils (OA 5611/...S, OA 5612/...S), double contacts (OA 5621_D, OA 5622_D), reinforced insulation (OA 5667/...4) and versions to DIN EN 50578 (OA 5611/31..L1, OA 5603/39..L1). Insulation between contact sets is double or reinforced per EN 50178, with clearance and creepage of ≥ 8 mm contact to coil and ≥ 5.5 mm contact to contact.

  • Coil voltages DC 6 - 110 V, TÜV approval
  • Typical uses: escalators, moving walkways, lifts, railway technology
  • Sensitive, double-contact and reinforced-insulation variants
  • ET 1415.011 to .037 relay sockets available
  • Specified to DIN EN 61810-1 and DIN EN 61810-3
