DOLD off-delay timers for fans, stairwell lighting and emergency power

Off-delay timers keep an output active for a set time after the control signal is removed. DOLD offers them with and without auxiliary voltage: versions without auxiliary voltage are limited to short delays, while those with auxiliary voltage handle longer times. Typical applications are fan run-on, lighting control such as stairwell lights, and delayed changeover to an emergency generator or emergency lighting system.

Without a control signal, compact choices include the 17.5 mm IK 7819 and SK 7819 and the 22.5 mm BC 7938N for 0.05 s to 300 s, MK 7873N with two changeover contacts and AC/DC 24 ... 240 V, and MK 9961, which reaches 600 s and can be set remotely by an external potentiometer. BA 7954 suits 2-wire proximity sensors, and AA 7562 gives one delayed and one undelayed changeover contact up to 180 s.

Models with a control signal handle longer times. IK 7823 and SK 7823 reach 640 min, BC 7933N 10 h and BC 7939N 16 h, while IK 9962, SK 9962 and MK 9962N span 0.05 s to 300 h over eight ranges at AC/DC 12 ... 240 V. The AA 7666, EC 7666, EF 7666 and EH 7666 add a time lapse display and an instantaneous contact, with delays up to 60 h.
