Multifunction measuring relay, for Modbus
DOLD's VARIMETER PRO series packs many monitoring functions into a narrow multifunctional measuring relay. Because a single device can be applied flexibly, these universal relays save panel space and keep costs down. Continuous, reliable monitoring of three-phase networks helps machines and plants run without disruption, and the relays are also a good choice for single-phase networks. Configuration is user-friendly, so each device can be set up to suit the application closely.
At the top of the range, the MH 9300 (45 mm) and MK 9300N (22.5 mm) measure voltage on 1- and 3-phase systems, current, frequency, cos phi and active, reactive and apparent power, and also check phase sequence, phase failure and asymmetry. The UG 9400 covers voltage, current, frequency, cos phi and phase checks over a galvanically isolated Modbus RTU interface, and the RL 9405 energy meter stores measured energy values permanently and reports them via Modbus.
For three-phase supervision without a separate auxiliary supply, the BD 9080/003 and BD 9080/004 handle voltages up to 3 AC 1000 V plus asymmetry, phase failure and sequence. The IL 9087 and SL 9087 add loss-of-neutral detection, the IL 9086 and SL 9086 combine phase monitoring with an input for 1 to 6 thermistors, and the 9077 family (IL, SL, IP, SP) sets over- and undervoltage separately within 0.9 to 1.3 UN and 0.7 to 1.1 UN.
