MINISTART smart motor starters up to 4 kW in a 22.5 mm housing
DOLD's MINISTART smart motor starters, also called hybrid or electronic motor starters, switch and reverse single-phase and three-phase motors up to 4 kW. They fit into a housing only 22.5 mm wide and combine up to 7 functions that would otherwise need several separate devices, saving up to 80 % of control cabinet space. Functions include clockwise/counterclockwise reversing, soft start and soft stop, current monitoring, motor protection and galvanic mains isolation.
The hybrid design keeps wear low and starts machines gently, which suits demanding drives such as door and gate controls, conveyors, and bridge and actuator drives with IE1, IE2 or IE3 motors. Multifunction versions add phase failure detection, phase sequence monitoring and a Modbus RTU interface, and a phase inverter that corrects the rotating field automatically is also available.
