Contact extension modules that multiply the outputs of safety base modules
When a safety relay does not have enough output contacts for every control circuit that must be switched off, DOLD extension modules add more. Each is a compact device built around forcibly guided safety relays. Each one is driven by its function module (base module) and monitored through that module's feedback loop, so any number of control circuits can be disconnected safely.
Dividing the outputs over several control circuits in this way is a cost-effective method of contact multiplication. The modules connect universally to the base modules, and several extension modules can be attached to a single base module.
