Safety extension, delay and interface modules for contact multiplication
This group brings together DOLD's extension (expansion), delay and coupling (interface) modules for safety circuits. They are added to a safety setup when a base device needs more output contacts, offering an economical way to multiply contacts, or when particular functions must be shut down or switched in a targeted way. Extension modules such as BG 5929, LG 5929, UG 6929, BN 3081, RK 6929 and XF 6929 add forcibly guided contacts to a safety base unit and are rated Cat. 4 / PL e and SIL 3, with EN 50156-1 listed for furnaces. Widths run from 17.5 mm (RK 6929, XF 6929) to 100 mm for the BN 3081 with 7 NO contacts, and several can be driven from the semiconductor safety outputs of light curtains or E-stop devices.
Delay modules (BA 7924, BG 7925, BH 7925, BG 7926, LG 7927, LG 7928) give on-delayed or release-delayed safety outputs rated up to Cat. 3 / PL d and SIL 2; BA 7924 and BG 7926 need no auxiliary supply. Interface modules such as HC 3096N, HL 3094, HO 3095, IP 3078 and UG 3088 are coupling relays with forcibly guided contacts, the HL 3094 and HO 3095 offering up to 8 contacts and Ith = 8 A.
