SAFEMASTER W wireless safety system for mobile machine operation and shutdown
DOLD's SAFEMASTER W family brings functional safety to radio. It lets operators run and safely stop machines with hazardous zones while moving freely around them. That covers automatic mode tasks such as troubleshooting, lubrication and adjustment work, as well as setup mode tasks like commissioning, machine settings and maintenance.
Besides keeping machines available, the system relies on radio technology that does not wear and needs no maintenance, is easy to handle and can be used flexibly in mobile setups. The subcategories below cover the wireless enabling switch, wireless emergency stop and the pair and group mode radio controlled safety systems.
For wireless E-stop, the BI 5910 receiver works with the RE 5910 handheld unit; for enabling, the BI 6910 receiver pairs with the RE 6910 switch, which uses either four command buttons or up to 10 functions and has an LCD. Both receivers are specified for PL e / Cat. 4 to EN ISO 13849-1 and SIL 3 to IEC/EN 61508 and offer 6 non-safety semiconductor outputs. The 45 mm UH 6900 MF (pair mode) and UH 6900 GC/GR (group mode) modules show radio link quality by LED, and the RE 6900 transmitter and ZB 6900/200 charger complete the listing.
