SAFEMASTER STS actuator modules A, B, D, E and K for guard monitoring
An actuator module is the part of an STS unit that receives the actuator. It sits on the fixed side of a separating guard, with the actuator on the moving side, and together they monitor the position of the guard. Combined with other modules in the unit, the actuator module can produce output signals, lock an access and enforce an operating sequence, such as on a hood or safety door.
Stainless steel modules A, B, D, E and K are assembled with other modules into STS units; B/K, D/K and K/K are the FRP versions for STS/K units. Each works with a matching actuator, such as the standard actuator T or the door handle actuator TG. Like the rest of the system, the modules hold an EU-type test certificate under directive 2006/42/EG, annex IX, and suit applications up to PL e / Category 4 to EN/ISO 13849-1.
