ST2451 option module: command devices for the SAFEMASTER STS system

The ST2451 option module adds command, indicator, selector and E-stop functions to SAFEMASTER STS. Fitted directly below a safety switch or hold-closed unit, it puts buttons and status indication at the access point, so main and maintenance accesses can be started, stopped and released where the operator stands. Each module has three selectable command positions, fitted with E-stop buttons, illuminated pushbuttons or selector switches, keyed or unkeyed. The stainless steel housing is only 40 mm wide.

Four versions are listed. ST2451.001 carries one emergency stop button and two buttons, and ST2451.002 carries three buttons; both mount as part of an STS unit. ST2451.101 SL and ST2451.102 SL are the standalone versions with the same layouts and can be wired into the safety circuit as an independent command device. Connection is by pluggable terminals with double spring clamps, rated for 1.5 mm² cable, which cuts assembly and wiring time.
