SAFEMASTER STS padlock modules for lockout/tagout (LOTO) at the guard

The padlock module adds a lockout (LOTO) function to an STS unit. It is hung on the unit's non-removable key, and hooking a padlock onto it is how a function gets enabled or disabled. Because only the holder of the padlock can change that state, the module gives individual workers direct personal control within the safety concept, for example during maintenance inside a guarded area.

Like key modules, padlock modules combine with further modules in an STS unit and fit in four positions, each rotated 90°. V and W are the stainless steel versions; V/K and W/K are FRP for STS/K units. The modules hold the EU-type test certificate under directive 2006/42/EG, annex IX, and suit safety applications up to PL e / Category 4 to EN/ISO 13849-1.
