FE 788C Diffuse Reflector Photoelectric Sensor
This photo detector, in contrast to other detectors, covers a particularly wide area, as it emits a broad beam of modulated infrared light and has a wide angel detector.
One special feature of this type is that the modulation of the light will be changed if
the receiver detects light from another transmitter than that of the detector. This will enable mounting of several detectors in a row even if they are scanning the same area. It is possible to mount detectors facing each other without disrupting it 's operating.
The wide angel receiver will activate the output signal as soon as part of the transmitted light is reflected. This signal will remain active while the photo detector receives the reflected light.
The detecting pitch can be adjusted up to 200 mm. The diffusion of the detection field is 60 degrees horizontally and 20 degrees vertically. In other words, the monitored area at a distance of 2000 mm. Equals about 2000 x 400 mm.
