Choosing SAFEMASTER STS actuators: standard, coded, flexible and bolt types
The actuator is fitted to the moving part of a separating guard and, working with the actuator module in the STS unit, monitors the position of the guard's two moving parts. Selection depends on the environment, where and how the actuator is mounted, which way the guard moves, the loads it has to take and the performance level needed under ISO 13849-1. DOLD offers flexible, robust, self-adjusting and coded designs. The standard actuator T and door handle actuator TG work with units that contain actuator module A, B, D, E or K.
T is the simple standard actuator for applications with normal strain, and TK is its coded version. C and CK give three degrees of flexibility, J and JK four. CS and CKS are actuators with sliding bolt, CW is a bolt actuator and TG is the door handle actuator. A K in the code marks the coded variant, so TK, CK, JK and CKS are the coded options in this range.
- T: standard actuator for normal strain
- C / CK: 3 degrees of flexibility; J / JK: 4
- CS, CKS: sliding bolt; CW: bolt actuator
- TG: door handle actuator
- Coded versions: TK, CK, JK, CKS
