SAFEMASTER STS locking modules for key and actuator interlocking

Locking modules keep a safety guard or other protective device closed while a hazard to people remains, allowing access only once a release signal is present. Within an STS unit, the locking module is the element that releases or blocks keys and actuators on purpose. It can monitor actuator position, key position, the door or entry and its own locking position, and further modules can be added to extend the unit.

The range is broad. ZRX, ZAX, ZRN, ZAN, ZRH, YRX, YRH and YAX each come in stainless steel and in an FRP /K version, alongside ZRF, ZAF and the FRP ZRHC/K. ZRX, ZAX and ZRH combine with further modules to form an STS unit. All are rated up to PL e / Category 4 (EN ISO 13849-1) and covered by the EU-type test certificate under directive 2006/42/EG, annex IX.
