F-Kit escape release for SAFEMASTER STS locking units

Anyone accidentally shut inside a guarded area must always be able to get out. SAFEMASTER STS handles this with escape releases and emergency unlocking: once triggered, a trapped operator can leave from inside or be freed by someone outside. The F-Kit escape release links three subsystems of STS modules in an arrangement that lets a locked-in person escape, drawing on the strengths of key transfer, a locking module and a safety switch.

The F-Kit is intended as a retrofit kit that adds escape functions to locking units already in service, and it can be expanded modularly. It needs little wiring, has a rugged stainless steel design for harsh environments and suits safety applications up to PL e / Category 4 to EN/ISO 13849-1.
