Many machines keep moving after an emergency stop or slow down only gradually. Mechanical units with electrical release keep the access door shut until that dangerous movement is over: the guard opens only once the risk has passed and the machine control has sent a release signal to the locking. Each unit is a guard-locking switch with its own separate actuator and a disable function; contacts switch when the disable position is reached and when the actuator is removed.
YRX10A (stainless) and YRX10BM/K (FRP) are guard locking switches with key release function, as are YRX10B01M, YRX10B01M/K, YRX11A and YRX11BM/K. YRX11M and YRX11M/K are key exchange units with an electromechanical release signal. YRXKM, YRXKM/K, YRXK01M and YRXK01M/K release on insertion of the actuator. All hold the EU-type test certificate under 2006/42/EG, annex IX, for applications up to PL e / Category 4 to EN ISO 13849-1.
