Safety relays and safety systems that protect people and machines: emergency stop, safety gate, light curtain, two-hand control and safety mat monitoring, plus safe standstill and speed monitoring of drives.

Choose a single-function safety relay when you only need to monitor a few safety functions, or a modular, configurable safety system when a machine has many. Devices are certified up to SIL 3 (IEC/EN 61508), SIL CL 3 (IEC/EN 62061) and Cat. 4 / PL e (EN ISO 13849-1). Not sure which one fits your application? Ask our engineers.

DOLD SAFEMASTER safety relays, drive monitoring and wireless safety systems

DOLD groups its machine safety products under the SAFEMASTER name. The range starts with single-function safety relays for emergency stop, safety gates, light barriers and light grids, two-hand control and safety mats. It extends to safe drive monitoring of speed, standstill and frequency, with sensorless options. For complete machines and plants, modular and configurable systems monitor every safety circuit, and the SAFEMASTER W family adds a mobile radio emergency stop, wireless enabling switches and a bidirectional radio safety system.

Each sub-series has a clear role. SAFEMASTER covers the classic safety relays, SAFEMASTER S handles standstill and speed monitoring with or without sensors, and SAFEMASTER C packs several safety functions, with or without timing, into one compact relay. SAFEMASTER M is a modular system that needs no software, SAFEMASTER PRO is modular and configurable, and SAFEMASTER W provides radio-based safety. For movable guards, the SAFEMASTER STS system brings the safety switch, key transfer, guard locking and control devices together in one system.

DOLD designs these products to international machine safety standards, for anything from small machines to large networked plants. Typical markets include machine and plant building, rail, medical technology, raw materials processing, and the generation and distribution of power. For low-demand applications, such as those found in the process industry, DOLD publishes additional safety-related characteristic data for selected devices, and it also develops custom safety solutions for individual applications.

  • Safety relays for emergency stop, guard doors, light curtains and mats
  • Safe speed, standstill and frequency monitoring, also sensorless
  • Software-free modular SAFEMASTER M or configurable SAFEMASTER PRO
  • Configurable safety systems with fieldbus connection
  • Wireless emergency stop and enabling switches with SAFEMASTER W
  • Extra safety data for low-demand mode on selected devices
