Emergency stop monitors show which E-stop button has been pressed, so staff can find it quickly and shorten machine downtime. Emergency stop devices bring machines to a halt or switch them off, limiting the risk to people, equipment and the parts being produced. The coded magnetic switches monitor the position of safety doors that slide, swing or can be removed. Because they work without contact, they remain usable on doors that are stiff to move or do not close in a precise position.
Two E-stop monitors are listed, the 45 mm BH 5922 and the 90 mm BL 5922. Each handles up to 16 single-channel or 8 two-channel E-stop buttons, can be extended in steps of 8, offers manual or automatic reset and leaves the E-stop circuit itself unaffected. The NI 5061 emergency stop device comes as NI 5061.06 with 2 NC contacts on a 4-pole M12 connection, or NI 5061.43 with an added NO contact and 8 poles.
The NE 5021 coded magnetic switch has 2 NO / 1 NC contacts and is used for safety duty together with a security module such as BG 5925/920 or LG 5925/920. The group also holds the BH 5904 valve monitoring module, rated Cat. 4 / PL e, and the RE 6909 modular three-stage enabling switch with an optional E-stop button.
